About Rhebokskloof

Rhebokskloof Wine Estate, situated in the historic Paarl Valley, lies between the granite hills of the Paarl Rock Mountains. Rhebokskloof has a unique terroir, comprised of decomposed granite soils from the hills surrounding the estate.

The farm itself dates to 19th August 1692 when Simon Van der Stel, then governor of the Cape, gave a free grant of land to Dirk van Schalkwyk.

Rhebokskloof strives for excellence in its winemaking, and this is reflected in our award-winning wines. The grapes used in the production of Rhebokskloof wines come from the estate itself, as well as other farms in the surrounding areas. Rhebokskloof’s cellar makes use of traditional techniques when creating wine, forgoing excessive technology for time-trusted approaches that yield exceptional wine.

Main cultivars planted; Shiraz, Pinotage, Chardonnay & Chenin Blanc. The labels are made from 100% renewable sugar cane fibre.

THE WINEMAKER
